We have always been fortunate to be welcomed with open arms by beaders in Hawaii. Hawaiians are a special kind of people. You don't have to look far to see that these days, with Barack Obama being the first Hawaiian President of the United States. There is just something so unique, open minded, honest and kind about the Hawaiian culture. Our love for Hawaii and the Hawaiian people is the reason for the Soft Flex Company Glass Art & Bead Festival in Honolulu twice a year. When we were approached by the Best Bead Show to purchase their Spring & Fall shows, we were more than happy to take over. The show had a good following thanks to Jenny, Lewis & Kathy's hard work and we already knew and loved so many of the bead shop owners and designers in the area. Next weekend, we will host another SFC Glass Art & Bead Festival in Honolulu.
