  6. I like in Waterford. My favorite bead store is Red Rose Bead Heaven because the owner is a wonderful lady and takes the time to help you when you have questions about items or how to make something and it is a really nice cozy place to find great beads and findings. Lizz, the owner, also has an open table, so you can come in anytime, sit down and work on a project if you just want to get away from home and sit with your beading friends.

  8. I live in Imperial Beach, Ca. We have no bead store or a hobbie store. I must order everything on line. I wish we had a bead store where we could all get togather and bead. I like the comment that Julie made. I would love to have a bead store like that here.

  9. I live in Surrey, BC (close to Vancouver) way up here in Canada. My favorite place to buy beads and supplies is at Capilano Rock and Gems because of the selection, quality and price. It is about an hours drive though, so I mostly buy at my local Michaels.

  11. Yikes, I was just saying how much i need a new crimper! My name is Brenda Salzano, of Salzanos on Etsy. I live on the oregon coast and we have only one local place to buy beads and there is little selection. So I only buy there when I have to have it 'now'. Jo-anns fabric store is all we have.

I "liked" for facebook and will tweet this too!!
    Thank you ;-)

  29. Well this is fun :).. unfortunately I live in a small town in North Dakota.. with NO bead store- it is awful.. what I wouldn't give to have just one that I could walk into and drool over on a regular basis. With that said, I of course do all my purchasing online... and one of my favorites has been buying handmade glass lampwork beads from the artists- primarily via ebay.. I've fallen in love with the art of these wonderful beads... to the point that I've just embarked on learning the craft of flameworking my own beads. Anyway, thanks for letting me share this with you.. Happy Wednesday.

  31. I live in a small hamlet in Southern Sweden called Svenstad. Not many bead shops around here, though we have a craft and yarn shop in the village nearby. The most local shop -- and one that I also really like -- is Pärlgården in Helsingborg. Check out the charming little half-timbered house it's located in: http://www.parlgarden.se/

  35. I live in Ephrata, WA. It's a little town and unfortunately, WalMart is the closest thing to a bead store that we have so I have a couple of favs online. One is Fire Mountain Gems and they have a HUGE selection. My other favorite is Zhen beads in China. They can be found on eBay and the prices are unbelievably cheap.

I just found your site but LOVE what I've seen so far!

    Thanks!
