Aimee Ray's Sweet and Simple Jewelry
by Aimee Ray and Kathy Sheldon

This is such a nice concept. The book offer 32 projects from 17 designers. The designs are just as advertised by the name, "sweet and simple." It almost felt like I was flipping through someone's jewelry-making pinterest board. What I liked most about this book is the marriage of jewelry design with traditional crafting techniques. For example, projects using fabric, felt or needlepoint felt like a nice bridge between traditional crafts and jewelry making. Having said that, I don't think that this book is for an advanced jewelry maker. But, I do think that it is a nice option for a crafter moving into making jewelry. Although a few of the ideas may give some inspiration to a seasoned jewelry designer, most of them are for a beginner or novice who is just getting started.

From the back of the book, "Best-selling craft authors Aimee Ray and Kathy Sheldon - along with top Etsy and indie designers - present 32 of the most beautiful, on-trend jewelry projects anywhere!"
