DIY Christmas - Beaded And Wire Snow Angel Ornament

8:00 AM

I accidentally stumbled across this pattern. I planned to turn these beads into an icicle but as I was playing with the proportions, I realized how cute it would be as a little snowman or snow angel. This particular ornament is really sparkly and pretty. It would make an excellent gift!

8mm clear crystal

Using about 15 inches of craft wire, create a wire wrap loop on one end.

String the smallest bead first, the middle sized bead next and the largest bead last. Bend the wire at the bottom.

Wrap the wire around the bottom bead and the base of the wire once.

Make a wide loop for your first angel wing. Wrap the wire around the base of the wire.

Make a matching wide loop on the other side for the second wing. Wrap the wire around the base of the wire. Trim excess wire.

Add an ornament hanger. You can make your own using my ornament hanger tutorial! Isn't it just adorable?
